After pain, American boy cut centipede 10 cm from the ear

Teen recovers in hospital in the state of Arkansas.

The American teenager Grant Botti, 14, is recovering in a hospital in Little Rock in Arkansas (USA), after removing a centipede 10 cm from the ear.

Botti, who lives in Bryant, was asleep when he woke up with pain in the ear. After noting what was causing the pain, the boy pulled a centipede ear.

Then his mother, Angela Botti, put the creature in a plastic bag and took the child to the hospital.

According to doctors, the centipede caused minor abrasions in the eardrum and the teenager's ear canal.
