A costumed man Captain America participated in an assault on a beauty products store in the US state of Texas, according to local police.

Images from security cameras released by Plan police show two suspects and their car at the scene.

One suspect uses a black and yellow jacket, and the other is Captain America dress.

According to police, they may be responsible for a series of similar robberies in the area.

The pair escaped in a gold SUV, probably a Dodge Durango and a Chrysler Aspen
