A historic building over 100 years old will be transported to another location because the area where the century-old building was give space to a new skyscraper in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, China.

Experts set up an operation to stop moving the place of building. They will be used six concrete bars to help transport. According to the expert Li Liangliang, the most important part of the project is to strengthen the building not to damage it.

The three-story building is a cultural relic of republican China era (1912-1949). At that time, the merchants of Wuhan raised funds to create a fire department to protect the area. The building was the headquarters of the department.

After 1949, the building was handed over to the Public Security Bureau of Wuhan. With the sale of the area for real estate business, the historic building will be taken to another area, which is about 100 meters away.
